RAIN WINS AGAIN: MAY 8 CANCELLED DUE TO RAIN

With rain in the area most of the day, Thunder Mountain Speedway could not take anymore forcing management to cancel the May 8 program and the 5th scheduled event in a row.

The 2009 season will hopefully kick off on Friday, May 15 with a regular show of Steel Block Late Models, Super Stocks, Pure Stocks, and Thunderbolt Enduros and will also be the first 1-on-1 Spectator Races. Fans will have their chance to take to the 3/8 mile track in their street vehicles. Check for details later this week.
