As Thunder Mountain Speedway prepares for the 2009 season, another first for the track has been announced. Brittany Bouch has been named the first ever Miss Thunder Mountain Speedway.
Brittany is a 20 year old hailing from Punxsutawney, PA who has been a regular spectator at TMS events throughout the years. Not just a spectator, Brittany has also raced her Thunderbolt Enduro at the track as well as other speedways over the last 4 years. She also attends many national events in support of her favorite driver, "Kid Rocket" Josh Richards.
Being no stranger to victory lane ceremonies, Brittany has handed out trophies at other tracks for her senior project. As soon as she got word of the announcement of the Miss TMS offer, Brittany's excitement began. She entered the contest right away with hopes of becoming the track's inital trophy girl.
"I can't wait, I'm looking forward to this" stated Brittany after being notified of her honor. "I already started buying clothes" joked the happy winner. Fans and lucky drivers will see Brittany every Friday night at the3/8 mile Jefferson County oval, but the same can grab a sneak peek at the DuBois Mall Race Car Show held from March 29 through April 4. Miss TMS will be on hand on dates to be announced. Everyone is welcome to be among the first to grab a photo with or autograph from the classy young lady.
